Our Kids approached us with a tight deadline to develop a marketing plan in just 24 hours for their EXPO events aimed at parents searching for private schools. With specific guidance on their goals and budget, we were tasked with creating a strategy that would effectively promote their events in multiple regions, including Ottawa, Toronto, Halton Hills, Calgary, and Vancouver. The challenge was not only to create impactful content quickly but also to ensure that the campaign was targeted and cost-efficient.

Plan

The first step was to assess the assets we had at our disposal and identify the core emotional message we wanted to convey. We focused on creating an inspiring and reassuring narrative for parents concerned about their children's educational futures. Our solution was to produce videos that would speak directly to these parents, emphasizing that the EXPO is the event they cannot miss if they are seeking the best educational opportunities for their children.

While the videos were being produced, edited, and reviewed, we simultaneously worked on setting up hyper-localized Google Ads campaigns, researching key search terms, and leveraging Meta’s audience-targeting tools to ensure the right demographics in each city were reached. This dual approach allowed us to maintain momentum and expedite the execution of the plan.

Summary

Within 48 hours, we successfully launched the videos and digital campaigns across all targeted cities. By carefully optimizing ad spend and targeting, we were able to significantly lower the cost-per-click (CPC) and reach more relevant profiles than initially anticipated, all while staying under budget. The rapid turnaround and strategic approach resulted in a highly effective marketing campaign that brought increased visibility to the EXPO events, driving awareness and engagement with the right audience.
