Shawn is a chiropractor, entrepreneur, educator, international conference speaker, medico-legal consultant, and thought leader in chiropractic. He aims to deliver rational, clinically relevant information in various formats to meet the needs of busy chiropractors and musculoskeletal experts. Shawn's goal is to help practicing clinicians achieve theirs. After earning a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from McMaster University in 1996, he graduated magna cum laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 2004 and received his medical acupuncture qualification from McMaster University the same year. During his chiropractic education, Shawn developed a passion for research, particularly in how it could inform safe and effective chiropractic care. He dedicated countless hours to reading the latest research papers, writing summaries, and sharing them with classmates and faculty at CMCC, foreshadowing his future contributions to the field.
